        Has Inter Varsity touched your life? Look back to the time when you were a student involved in the Christian fellowship in your campus. Or when you attended a Leadership –Discipleship Camp, or a Kawayan Camp, or a Conference. How did the Lord use IVCF to nurture and transform you to develop your leadership potentials? Do you still believe in the ministry of IVCF? 

         Perhaps you were not involved as a student but have been connected to IVCF by a friend as a graduate or as a supporter. Have you in any way been blessed and encouraged? Do you believe that the ministry among student and graduates is strategic and is worth investing in? If you do, I invite you to take part in this ministry by joining the IVCF Gold Fund Campaign. 

         One big concern I have as the current General Secretary is the availability of sufficient funds for the staff salaries and for the operations of the ministry. I am sure all my predecessors had the same desire to see the financial situation of the movement become more stable. 

         I thanked the Lord for the bold steps which our current Board of Trustees has made in launching the IVCF Gold Fund. 

         It is a timely campaign as we anticipate the Golden Anniversary of IVCF Philippines. Yes, we will turn 50 years old in 2003. It is high time that we become financially stable. Our target is to raise an initial amount of Php 5 M by 2003 ( please specify the month January 2003 ba or December 2003) With thousands of IVCF graduates and friends, this is not difficult to raise.
